Most untangling can be done for $49. If it's a crazy lost cause it may have to be cut apart and put back together by our expert craftspeople. Of course all untangling includes cleaning the chain!

Appraisals are done per piece. All appraisals include a complete typewritten document stating Insurance replacement value and enough photos to replicate or replace the piece of jewelry in the event of a loss. A second copy is provided for your insurance company. Diamonds over 1 carat in size include a comprehensive diamond grading report and plot of the diamond for positive identification.

Estate, Equitable Distribution, Collateral, or other types of appraisals require a $200 minimum charge. Appraisal typically takes 2 weeks to complete. We do offer an Express 24 hour service for an additional charge.

The item is cleaned to remove all the dirt, oil, lotions, contaminants, etc. on the metal and the gemstones. The cleaning process depends on the type of gemstones in the piece. An ultrasonic cleaner can be used for the more durable gemstones such as Diamond, Ruby, and Sapphire. Gemstones that are more fragile may require special handling and cleaning such as Opals and Pearls.

All White Gold jewelry is Rhodium plated. After the buffing, polishing, and cleaning is completed, the item needs to be re-rhodium plated for that bright white finish.

Simple snapbacks are $10, Simple screw backs $15, Difficult screw back $20, Intricate screw backs (has multiple screws and or unusual battery removal) $40 and up.
